Volunteer Signup - Illinois Engineering Initiative

Explore Engineering needs volunteers who are excited to tell grade, middle and high school students what they do and why engineering is such a rewarding career. Unless other arrangements are made, most visits will be one hour. We provide curriculum options and corresponding materials shipped directly to your house or office. All you need to do is coordinate details with your matched teacher to set up a time that works for you and the students.

We will partner you up with a school in your preferred areas listed. Once we have identified a match, we will send you the contact information for the school contact to arrange a mutually agreeable time and will include information on Education materials that you can use for your visit. If you would like to include an activity in your visit we will ship you the materials and instructions on the activity.
