The engineering industry is facing a generation-long workforce shortage. The e-squared initiative was developed by the Illinois Engineering Initiative (IEI), the American Council of Engineering Companies Illinois (ACEC – IL) and the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) to create awareness of the engineering profession among students.

e-squared is a statewide speakers bureau that connects teachers and schools to practicing engineers so that students understand what engineering is and whether a career in engineering might be right for them. Sign up is easy!
